Claire has been a qualified physiotherapist (BSc Hons) since 2002 and as a keen sportswomen she has always had a specific interest in maximising performance, and taking a holistic approach in order for athletes to achieve their full potential. Claire spent 6 years working in a private physiotherapy practice in Australia treating a high proportion of athletes in addition to her job as a qualified swim instructor and coach to Australian State and club swimmers. Having achieved additional qualifications in the fitness industry in Personal Training and Nutrition she has now specialised further in Sports Nutrition, graduating with an MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition (distinction) from St Mary’s University in 2015.
As an amateur triathlete and cyclist, regularly competing in Olympic to Iron distance triathlon competitions and cycle sportives’, including L’Etape du Tour for the last 4 years, Claire has particular interest in endurance sport but equally understands nutritional demands in other areas from personal involvement in various team sports and martial arts, as well as from her education.
